Oh The Month of March....

This month has been total madness and I dont mean March Madness. Kobe's birthday is March 1st, my favorite day of the year of course :0) However, this year I am in school and working heavily. I have worked at Clark Regional Medical Center for 11 years *including this year. We have just had a new facility built so we are in the process of moving into the new facility. It has been a chore to say the least. With Roger working 7 days a week, that makes us more tired. But we are doing; surviving. However, I havent figured that out yet. I have lots of pictures to post but it is late tonight so I will post them later.
Roger and I went shopping today. Just us, which doesnt happen that often. Not at all really but Amber watched Kobe and it was nice. I got alot of Spring decor that I am excited about. I am so ready for summer. Last summer was a blast and this one will only top that one. I assume Kobe will start baseball this next few weeks and that is always fun. Alot to look forward to and I cant wait!!!

Kobe Turns 7!!!!

As you can see we celebrated the whole week of Kobe's birthday. From Monkey Joe's, presents at home, hotel and swimming to all night bowling. This is def a birthday he will always remember!!

In the past few days...

Alot has been going on the past few days. Friday night Kobe and I went to a real Roughstock Rodeo. He had so much fun. I didnt know if he would like it as much as he did; but I was glad he did. Saturday, we had a birthday party. My sweet little niece Kate turned 9. It is so hard to believe where the time goes. Sunday, Daddy was home so we didnt do anything. I went to the grocery and that was it! I still find it hard to believe how much we eat in a week. 230.00, really!!! Oh well, at least we eat good :) I have plenty of pictures from this weekend, I will add tomorrow. I have just recently gotten internet at home and I am using my school laptop at the moment and my pictures are on my other laptop. And, since its 9:30 at night, well itll be tomorrow :)

On another wonderful note... Today is my wonderful husband's 32nd birthday. I started the day by waking up at 4:00 this morning and texting him before he got out of bed... it was like a page text. It is hard to think that we have been together for 14 years.... But I made sure he had his favorite meal, cake, and presents waiting when he came home from work. Lil Kobe was more excited than he was.. he said he had an awesome birthday, which was what I was going for :)

On a sad note... Kobe has not slept with me for almost 3 weeks..he has slept with me for almost 7 years, right by my side... it is hard for me to take in that he wants to sleep in his bed, in his room across the house. But I guess it was gonna happen one day, just wanted it later than sooner.

Sorry for the ramblings, I just have been so busy for past few days that I havent had time to write anything. The rest of the week is work, schook, homework, studying (add my wife and mommy duties in there somewhere), but Saturday we are going out for Roger's birthday. Dinner and a movie; I know we're wild ones uh?

Ramblings!!!

Today I am kind of blah, for lack of a better term. I feel so tired today. Yesterday I had a sinus headache so I took some Nyquil and boy it knocked me out!! I still feel groggy today. I had supper fixed and bath and homework done last night early. We were all in the bed by 8:30. I know, I know it sounds like we are 100 years old. But Kobe had just gone back to school, Roger works hard, and me well I had taken that medicine. You would think we all had gotten enough sleep. But at 5:30 this morning we were all still so sleepy. Tonight, my classes start back. I am a lil excited but nervous. Biology I am so excited to learn more things that I don’t know!!!! But Algebra, not so excited about…. Not a math wiz. I am just praying for wittiness and quickness to learn in that class so that I can keep my 4.0.. We shall see how things go. Before too long ill be planning Kobe’s 7th birthday!!!! *sigh* I know it’s a month and half away but I start early every year so I can do the best job I can. I love to plan ahead. We’re doing wrestling décor this year!! Anyway, enough rambling for today. Have a great week ya’ll!!!!

Great Weekend!!

We always have the best weekends!! I think that Roger and I are so in love with our family that anytime our lil family is together, we make the best of it. We worked hard all week, so this weekend was a lil play hard for us.
Friday night after Roger and I got home from work, and Kobe from Nanny’s (no school due to inclement weather) we took ourselves out to eat…. Applebee’s. Best place in Mt. Sterling to get a good steak. So it was Applebee’s. The food was so good. I even had me a Bahama Mama; which I never do. But it was good…. And just one is all I needed to relax.. After leaving Applebee’s me and Kobe went home to rest and Roger went to play cards….
Saturday, Roger had to work of course. Kobe and I went to run errands (pay bills) yuck!! Then, we went shopping a lil. My nails needed major love, so we took care of them. But not before Kobe got his hair cut. He has to have his hair cut about every 3 weeks. He hates for it to be too long. Loves it short, which is fine with me!!! Then, we picked up Kobe a new pair of Pumas and ate lunch with Mammaw Wanda.
Sunday was a lazzzzy day for us. We didn’t get out of our pjs lol. Roger and I did meet some friends for dinner and a movie. Kobe stayed with Marlean. Although, we missed him terribly, it was nice to get out and spend time with just us…. And that’s it folks… Monday morning, back to work and Kobe back to Nanny’s (Martin Luther King Jr day). Tomorrow, he is will be heartbroken… school will resume.
