Well last night I drug out the bathing suites from last and would you know it they fit. And look great :-) So this weekend I am going shopping for water toys for Kobe... and some things to keep him occupied on the road. Kind of busy today. That is all that is going on right now. Getting ready to storm, yuck...

Friday!!!! And Mother's Day!!!
I booked our room in Florida this morning... YAY!!! just have to get everything ready to go.. I have 3 weeks for prepare, I am just so excited. Cant wait...
Sunday is Mother's Day!! I am so thankful for my mother, grandmother, and step~mother. I had the best mother in law anyone could ask for. She has passed away now, but I miss her everyday... here is a picture of my mother, grandmother and step~mother…

Thursday's Thoughts
Thursdays are always show and tell for Kobe at school. Whatever it may be that they are studying that week, is what the title is for that week. This week the item was "BUGS". So he had to take a bug, dead or alive. So last night we were searching for bugs. I went the store and got him a lil bug catching kit. He just loved it. We were out until 9:30 last night catching bugs. We found our bugs, filled out his lil paper, and thought we had it all taken care of. Then, just a lil after dark Tanner ran down to the house and shouted I found Kobe something for his bug box. He handed Kobe a lighten bug. They are so sweet together. Cousins closer than brothers. I am so glad that he has a "brother" which is what he calls Tanner. We just love Tanner so much. So thank you Tanner for the new addition...
Other good news...
Last night, Roger brought home this gift jewelry box. All wrapped up, so pretty. I knew what it was for, Mother's Day, of course. I knew he was giving it to me early or he wouldnt have brought it in (or at least that is what I said ).. So he did (give it to me early that is) It was a beautiful MOM ring. I told him he has my left hand and now Bubby has my right. My two boys... Love them so much...

Good News... Bad News...
Good News....
Yesterday when I got off work my mother was waiting for me in the parking lot. My niece Amber got out of the vechile. (havent seen her in about 1 1/2 years; her mother is my sister and we dont communicate at all!) She went home with me and spent the afternoon. I took her back to my mothers last night. It was so awesome having her with me.. I love my nieces and nephews so much. We got to my house and Chris and Kobe were waiting on us outside. (Chris kept Kobe yesterday because there was no school on the count of rising water). We all played kick~ball, just had a great time. I took so many pictures that my camera died... Didnt know it until this morning when I went to download. Will download them tomorrow.
Bad News....
My mother was married to Justin Ryan for many years... They got married when I was 7 and divorced when I was 21, so he was the stepfather, I had known for many years. When they became divorced I lost touch with his family. Which is bad because they were great people. So anyway, I was searching on Facebook for them. Especially Katie. She was so sweet, beautiful, wonderful person. I did find her sister. So I messaged her and asked about Katie, because I couldnt find her. Ruth proceeded to tell me that Katie committed suicide in 2007, Aug 23rd. I was so taken back by this news. My heart aches knowing that I will never speak to her again. She left behind two children. Lexey 9 and Louis 7 years. Please continue to keep these children in your prayers. I would like for you to pray for her soul. My belief that committing suicide is complete damination. But I have to have faith that maybe I will see her again someday. I hope I do.

Fun~filled Weekend..as always!
We had a wonderful weekend as always. Friday night we went to a cookout with some friends of ours. Had a wonderful time. Then, we went to the drive~in to watch Backup Plan.. good movie..
Saturday my nephew came to stay all night. We had a singing at church. It was so great. I got such a blessing.
Sunday, we planned on getting up to go to church, but it didnt quiet work out that way. Our road was flooded. As you will see in the pictures below. This is the dam at Green Briar Lake. Awful. Worse it has been in a long time. But other than staying in and cuddling on the couch all day yesterday, the weekend went great... Yea, right that is my most favorite thing in the world. Cuddle with my boys on the couch...life couldnt get any better...
