Wonderful Christmas 2011!!

Every year, though out the year we are so blessed. As things occupy us and events happen we seem to not notice the small things in life. But the small things are to me the most important. Family being together, smiling faces, and warm hearts. It has been several years and few holidays passed that my family as a whole has been together. This year we all reunited. It was so wonderful seeing everyone and spending time with them. So much life gets in the way; as we are all busy; but the holidays are an awesome time to show your loved ones how much you love them. Just simply by sitting around the tree. And that is just what we did. The children have to have presents of course :) Here are a FEW pictures of Kobe’s Christmas…

Southern Lights!!!

Tonight, we are the kiddos to The Southern Lights… I have never been, so they haven’t either. I am more excited than they are I think. Amber, my niece came over to babysit Kobe over the holiday break. She and her sister Kate are at the house with Kobe. They are such sweet girls and Kobe absolutely loves them being there. He has someone to play with. I asked Tanner, Blake, and Bryan but the boys are sick and Tanner is going shopping tonight. I LOVE taking all the kids with me. We have so much fun! I will definitely post pictures of our adventure tomorrow!

Weekend Review!

This weekend was amazing; despite the awful headache I had Sunday night. Friday night, Roger and I both had a headache (we’ve all been battling a cold for about a week) but we had promised Kobe we would go watch Chipwrecked; so we took him. I was a very cute movie. I had taken some cold medicine so I slept through some of it :-/
Saturday, Roger had to work of course, but Kobe and I were going to finish some shopping. We stopped and ate lunch with Daddy before heading out of town :0)
We went to a couple stores waiting on Amber; she wanted to go. Kobe wanted to get a pair boots, so we went to the Boot Ranch. It took him 30 mins to pick out which pair he wanted!! Like his momma ;) Kobe saw Great Clips and had to have his hair cut. He loves to get his hair fixed, and he did need one. Then, we went to pick up Amber and Kobe decided to stay with Mammaw while we went to Lexington; which is good because he LOATHES shopping!!! Cant stand it!!
Amber and I went to Gabe Bros, Old Navy, Target and then headed to get Kobe. We got home and relaxed watching Lifetime Christmas movies :-)
Sunday, it was headache central again! I will be so glad when this head cold is OVER!! MY FIL wanted a new phone so he and I rode to Radio Shack; he picked out an HTC Inspire and loved it. I came home and cooked some supper (fried chicken, mashed potatoes and mac-n-chesse). I had taken some cold medicine. After eating supper I went to lay down at about 5:00 yesterday afternoon and I slept till 4:00am this morning!! I feel so much better. It was a much needed rest I suppose. Here are some pics of the weekend! There is a couple of pictures of Katlynn my niece and Mallory, our lil cousin. Please keep her in your prayers. She is battling a serious brain disease at the Cincinnati Hospital for Children. We love her!!

Christmas Concert!

The concert was a success!!! Kobe had so much fun. I am so glad he loves school and loves his friends. He worked so hard on it and practiced all week!! Love this lil precious baby boy to pieces!!

Thursday's Thoughts!

I have had this head cold for a few days! It is really starting to get me down and I hate it! Last night I stopped and got Cameron on my way home. He is so adorable. We just sat at home, filled out Christmas cards and played with Cameron. This morning at work we had a lil visitor, Hannah Nicole..She is so cute! So excited for tonight. It is Kobe’s first Christmas concert at school. I will take plenty of pictures!!

What I Am Loving Wednesday!!!

Last night we had so much fun!! Kobe loves to do any kind of art. So this year I bought him so ornaments to paint and he loved it!! So, yesterday evening we painted ornaments, baked cookies, and played Santa. This morning he was sleeping so peaceful I hated to wake him. Love that lil boy so much!!!
