Beautiful Weekend!

Well the week was mostly beautiful and sunny. There were a couple of days that Mr. Sunshine didn’t come out, but more often than not he was out and we loved it. Most of this weekend was sunny and hot. Yesterday afternoon the storms came back around. But not before we got the work outside finished that we wanted. We have been working on our porch for quiet some time now and with all the rain, we can not seem to get it complete. But yesterday we did put a big dent in it; thanks to Chris for helping. :0)
Friday night Roger and I took the boys, Kobe and Tanner, to the drive-in to see Pirates of the Carribean. We had such an awesome time. They are more like brothers than cousins. I am so glad Kobe has Tanner in his life.
Saturday we got up early and went to get breakfast and off to Kobe’s game. Kobe and Tanner both had a game. Kobe’s team won by 2 points. I have the cutest video on my iphone but it wouldn’t transfer over. Oh well. After the game Benjamin came over for the day. He and Kobe had so much fun. They played outside, inside, on the trampoline, then we went to McDonald’s for some good food; or so they said and rented a movie. Kobe was out like a light not long after we got home. Benjamin will definitely have to come and see us again.
Sunday, Roger Kobe and I got up and started the day early. Chris and Roger laid the block on the porches, while I cleaned up most of the messes. It was hard work! It was hot and humid and trying to keep up with Kobe and help out. Shew, I am glad that part is over! Hopefully, we will be done within a few weeks. The landscaping and redoing the outside of the house comes next. I am so excited that things are getting done. I like change every now and then. It wont be a big difference but enough to notice.
We have a busy week ahead as always. Baseball practice, games, and a huge yard sale this weekend. Selling all kinds of stuff. Because in less than 3 weeks we will be on vacation… cant wait.

An Update...

Yes... These pictures are a lil out of order, but nevertheless they all tell a story. Some of them are from Savannah's birthday party, some are from church and the rest are from Kobe's baseball game.. We have had such a wonderful week or couple of weeks. This weekend I went to Kenny Chesney's concert and it was a blast! I loved it!! But look at the pictures and you can see what kind of week we have had!1 Busy, but blessed.

Wonderful Weekend!

We had the most amazing weekend! When I got home Friday my friend Jaime and I went shopping. We went to a few stores, then we met up with Marlean and Amy at the Mexican resturant.
Saturday we went to holler where I was raised and had a cookout/egghunt for the kids. It was so fun. It was so rainy on Easter, we decided to do it this weekend. We left there and Kobe and I went to get a haircut while, Daddy mowed the yard :) Then, we met up with Chris, Marlean, Tanner, Chad, Amy, and Chase to get something to eat and watch Fast Five, which is an awesome movie!
Sunday, was kind of a lazy day. We got up early and went to church. We came home and took a nap. After, the nice, much needed nap, Kobe and I went to grocery. Had a lil house cleaning that needed to be done, then we relaxed and watched WWE Raw all evening!!

Sweet Life

We have had such a gloomy week here in Mt. Sterling... stormy, rainy, cloudy... just awful...But there were a couple of times Mr. Sunshine came out. And we loved it!! Twice a week Kobe has baseball practice at the local park. He adores going, I like to go my lil man in action. This weekend, we have some interesting plans. Tonight I am taking Kobe to see the movie RIO, Saturday we are having an egg hunt, (since it was rainy on Easter), and then we are going to the Mushroom festival, then church on Sunday. So our weekend is all planned out...

Happy Easter 2011

We had the most awesome Easter...First, we got up and Kobe was so excited that the Easter Bunny had visited him :) She left a basket for Daddy too... We went to church, spent time with my family. We had to hunt eggs in the house. Just because of the rain but its ok. We had a blast!! I explained to Kobe what the real meaning of Easter and he looked at me so sad and said,"He is so nice Mommy." Love his heart.

This Blessed Life!!!

There are a lot of things going on at 1935 Science Ridge… We have baseball practice twice a week, working over 40 hours a week, and trying to maintain a clean and organized house. Gets the best of me sometimes, but I do what I can J Below are some pictures of this week’s baseball practice, our latest home project and our anniversary date. First, Kobe has practice on Monday and Thursday evenings. It starts at 6:00 and ends at 7:00. And he loves it!! I am so glad he is getting into something; that he loves… Our latest project is porches!! I am so excited! We are getting a front and side porch. It will so pretty once we get finished… Over the weekend, Roger took me to see Randy Travis for our 9th anniversary. It was an awesome show. He went and got the tickets himself and presented them to me. So this was a big step!! A huge one!! We have been married 9 wonderful years..today. It has been so amazing! I am so blessed to have the life and family that I have. Roger is so wonderful. He great husband, father, friend, protector, provider; well I could go on for days. And you know when you marry someone, you marry their family. And no one could be more blessed than me!! I married the most awesome family in the world. We are the closest family ever!!! I love you guys always!!! I just have to thank God for all the blessings in my life!! (9years married, 13 years together, beautiful baby boy, and more love than anyone could imagine)

Im Sorry, Trying to Catch Up!!

These past few months have been so hectic. Very busy for us. But I try to catch up as often as I can. This past week was spring break for Kobe. He went to his Nanny's most of week. But Friday Marlean and I took off and took the boys to a hotel to let them swim. We made a day of it. Went to McDonalds, to see HOP and the to the room. We swam for a good while then ate pizza and played. We had a blast!! Saturday night we went to our friends Chad and Amy's and watched the game. Even though we lost :( it still was a great time!! Sunday was church, great service, good food and fellowship. Have a great day!!
