Wonderful Weekend!!!

This was an awesome weekend. They always are!! Friday night I got off work and stopped at daycare to get Kobe and we went home. Roger and Kobe played baseball (he loves it) while I went to the grocery… Then we just hung out and watched tv all night. Saturday, I got up early to go see my mom. She is actually doing very good. So proud of her. Love her so much…. Then, after visiting with her I did a lil shopping. I went to Hamburg and went to a few stores. Found some really good deals on what I got… which is always a good thing. When I got home Saturday, Roger, Kobe, and I went to the lil Country store down the road and ate lunch. They have the best cheeseburgers…. After lunch we decided we would go to Hoedown Island at Natural Bridge. I always went as a child, but I hadn’t been in years. For the last month or so I have wanting to go. I finally talked Roger and Kobe into taking me.. Well we were there about 30 minutes and it began pouring the rain. So we had to cut our time short, but we did have fun while we were there….
Sunday was a great day… Early Sunday morning Chris called to ask if Kobe wanted Tanner’s bedroom stuff. I was thinking just the decorations. It is WWE and Tanner is going with UK. So I said, “Yea”. Chris said, “Bring the truck and come on.” I said, “Truck?” It was the whole bedroom suite!!! Marlean, Tanner, and Chris are so wonderful to us… We are so close to them it is unbelievable. We love them so much. Kobe was so excited once we got everything set up. I switched his John Deere stuff in the playroom. He even slept in his bedroom last night. He never sleeps in his room but last night he went in to his room turned off the light, pulled the door to, and went to sleep!! Of course in the middle of the night he came to lay with Mommy, and that is just fine. But he is getting to be such a big boy and so independent. I am just hoping that he and I will always be close. I am sure we will.

Busy, busy week!!

I am so sorry. This week, well this month I should say has been so busy. Kobe started school this week, my mom, and work, there is just not enough time. Today was the 4th day of school for Kobe and I have cried everyday.... as soon as I let him out of the truck and go around the school the waterworks start. I cant help it. My lil baby is a lil man now... I dont cry in front of him because he LOVES school and I dont want to discourage that at all. I want him to do well. But beings today is Friday I dont think I have any major plans for this weekend. We will get up in the morning and go see my momma. Roger and I may do a lil shopping for few things.. Maybe if Kobe needs a few more things for school; just things like that. Then, we will do a lil yard work later in the day. Sunday, I am hoping just to go to church and be lazy. I love a lazy Sunday. Actually I love a rainy Sunday, that is when you just hang out in your pjs and watch movies all day. I love it.

First day of school :)

Today was Kobe's first day of Kindergarten. He was so excited to see his friends again. Going to Preschool really helped him. There were several children scared and crying; but not my big boy. He looked for his name and sat down and began coloring his paper. I said, "Mommy loves you and I will be here when you get out of school to get you." He said, "Ok Mommy, I am going to get me some cereal and I will be waiting for you." So precious.... I love him so much. I keep thinking of where the time has gone. My lil baby is a big boy now...I just want him to always do the right thing (in his heart what he knows is right) and always be kind to others. I know he will do great....

Wonderful Weekend!!

The Good Ol' Boys!!!

This weekend was just like any other, busy but alot of fun :) Friday night I took Shae home :( We miss her when she is gone. Love her so much. But she wanted to go home... Roger, Kobe, and I just hung around the house. Didnt do much. Saturday, Kobe and I got up early and went to see my momma. She looks so good. So proud of her for toughing it out. I know it has been rough. Then, we headed to Houston's 8th birthday party. All the kids had so much fun. It was a great party. We came home to no electric. I guess someone had hit a pole. It wasnt that bad with no lights, but the air was what was bad! We get spoiled I think, even with that being said I wanted my air. It came on after about 4-5 hours. (just in time to go to bed)

Sunday, Roger had a lil side job, so Kobe and I stayed around the house. I cleaned, did laundry, mowed, while he played :)

Such a big boy!!!!

Just a lil behind....

Sorry I have not posted anything since this weekend. This week has been a whirlwind of good news, bad news, accidents, and so on and so fourth. I have been so busy taking care of things I havent had a chance to post and I am sorry. My mother got into serious trouble at work... pretty bad. So please keep her in your prayers. I went to see her Monday evening and she is doing ok. Tuesday morning, on my way to work Roger called me. Which he usually always does, but it was about 30 mins earlier than he usually does. He said, "Hey babe, Ive got some more good news for ya". Me thinking he got a raise or bonus... No, he was laid off.....But its ok. Dont sweat the small stuff right. So, all of this in my head, I get off work and head home. Pull into the gas station, waiting on a pump, back up and hit someone square on the bumper. The guy was really nice though. Didnt hurt either car. So yeah it has been a rough week.
My cousin is staying with us this week. Shae is such a sweetie... Love her so much. Without her this week, I would have been a mess. So thank you Shae Shae...
Tonight is Kobe's open house for Kindergarten... so sad but exciting.. My baby boy is growing up :( He is excited. I will take plenty of pictures from tonight and Tuesday is his first day, so there will plenty on that day as well.

What a Weekend!!

This was a great weekend. As always we had so much fun. Camping and spending time with our family... There were some bad news throughout the weekend. I can only say, please keep our family in your prayers. I will tell about it later.
But as you will notice we are a very close family. This awful thing that has happened has brought my family so close. Even my sister and I spent several days together this weekend. So that has to be good, right....
