T.G.I.F. (Thank goodness its Friday)

I can not believe this. I woke up this morning to get ready for work. I go look outside to let my cat out and it is SNOWING!! Yes, snowing. It is spring and snowing in Eastern Kentucky. I am so sick of the snow and ready for tank tops and flip flops...
But as I was getting ready my sweet baby boy got up and asked, "What are you doing Mommy." I said, "Mommy has to go to work." He said, "Oh Mommy I'm going to miss you so bad." That just pulls on my heart strings... But I do love it.
So, tomorrow I am heading to Lexington to do a lil shoppin. I need to get Kobe's Easter basket and outfit. Also, I need to find something for Roger. Our anniversary is April 15th. It will be 8 years together and my love grows more and more everyday. I am the most luckiest woman in the world; to have the husband I have and the precious angel for a son. I could not be more blessed.
On another note, our boys won last night. I am a UK Wildcat fan. I just get so excited and nervous when they play. They play again Saturday so just have to hurry back from shopping.

Accident to Injury

Roger has a time I tell ya. Couple of years he hurt his finger and now he has done it again. This was earlier this week. This is a picture I recieved while sitting at my desk. You can imagine the surprise when I opened the text from my hubby to see this picture! I have doctored him up all week. He is doing better. I told him to be much more careful. Love his heart.

Thoughts for Tuesday

I dont think Mother Nature can decide what she wants to do here in Eastern Kentucky... Wonderful warm, sunny weekend and then this week is freezing? Cant quiet wrap my head around it. I continously have to watch the weather of the mornings to be sure to dress my baby right with the weather... Saturday and Sunday is had shorts and Monday and today he has had blue jeans and long sleeves. Oh well, it wont be too long until it will be warm all the time, yay!!!
I have been wanting to redecorate my living room. We have lived in our house 7 years and the furniture has been the same the whole 7 years. So I have to decided to start a project of redecorating. So, I will keep you posted. I am going to decorate in primitve decor. I will collect things as I see them. It will take me a while to gather the things I need. So it will be a long project.
Not much has happened this week to post about. Nothing new.. We all are happy and healthy.

Wonderful Weekend

Ok, this weekend is going to be a blast. I can not wait.... Saturday the boys have a hair cut(any other time I would just wait but Kobe has school pics Monday) so its kind of a have to case. After their haircut we are heading the Huntington West Virginia to the Big Sandy Arena for the indoor Demo Derby. We havent told Kobe yet, want it to be a surprise. He will be so excited. That is his most favorite thing in the world. I am so excited that Roger and I can take him. I love nothing more than surprising him just to see the look on his face.
Roger and I got him PS2 for his birthday. Of course, he loved it. He has played it everyday since. Last night he played until he just couldnt anymore. Love its heart.

Thoughts for Tuesday

Well Spring has arrived, daylight savings, and wet rainy days…. All of this means spring is here. I love spring, summer and all the warm dry days. I am so tired of snow, rain, and mud. Oh well, not much longer now I guess. Roger, Kobe and I are doing great. Couldn’t be better. All weekend we did nothing but cuddle and watch movies. We went to eat at my aunt Kim’s house. We eat there every Sunday. Nice lil family tradition. We did watch the Wildcats win their way to the NCAA. Shew, what a game Sunday. Nail-biting, but they won…. I am ready to go home, cook supper, lay in the tanning bed, take a shower, and finally cuddle with my boys on the couch and watch American Idol. That is my plan for this evening.

Prayers Needed

Please keep my sister and law and her family in your prayers. Her grandmother passed away Monday and her funeral was today. Such a sweet, caring, loving lady. She was sick for quiet a while but saying goodbye is never easy as everyone knows. So, just please keep them in your family.

Thoughts for a Tuesday

I honestly feel that spring is near; or is it wishful thinking I hope not… The radio yesterday on the way home said possible storm this week. So, that means spring!! I am so excited. This weekend was sssoooo beautiful, warm, shiny, perfect weather! We cooked out, the boys played outside, and Roger and I washed our vehicles. Love it! Cant wait for this to be the norm.

I did receive some disturbing news yesterday. My sis~in~law, (always has been my sister) suffered a loss. Her grandmother had been sick for a while and yesterday morning about 8 am she gave up her fight. I am so sad for them. I just love her so much. I wanted to do something nice for her a few days before. Marlean had been staying with her grandmother; leaving work early. My idea was to send her flowers to work. Well, I had to catch her before she left. So, I called my loving, wonderful husband (and if you know him; you know he is) and told him to take her an arrangement of flowers. That he would have to go the florist and buy them and deliver them himself because she would be leaving work soon. Of course, he did it. Anything for someone he loves. It just made her day and I am so glad. Just keep her and her family in your prayers. God is the only refuge.

Kobe's 5th Birthday Party

Kobe's birthday party was Saturday. Of course as you can see we had such a large time. Always do. Everyone comes, enjoys good food and company, and just makes the day for Kobe only. Which I love!!
