Yuck!! More Snow!

Well as it goes most of time, a good thing never lasts. In saying this I am speaking of the beautiful weather. Woke up this morning to about 2-3 inches of snow. Yes, it snowed again!! Sunday it was so gorgeous outside, then today, Mother Nature can not make up her mind.
On a better note; I am preparing for Kobe’s birthday party. Saturday I am taking Kobe to have his pictures made. I do this every year for his birthday and they always turn out so well. I just having them made. Of course you have noticed I am a picture person. I am getting the house put back together and the supplies and gifts bought for his birthday; I am sure I will forget something.
I can not wait for Spring!!!

Thoughtful Thursday

Bedtime story while it snowed

The past two weeks have been considered the North Pole. At least to me. Snow, snow, and more snow. Monday night was same as always. Dinner, bath, and a bedtime story. But while we read our story oh what it was doing outside. The next pictures are what we woke up to. I think we got about 5-6 inches. I am so ready for SPRING!!!! I love all seasons, just in moderation. So come on pretty weather. I love to wake up to the warm sunshine, cool breeze and be forced inside by darkness with little flickers of the lighting bugs. That is what I long for right now.

This was my Valentine's Day breakfast... Kobe was so excited. He said, "Mommy, you made me heart cakes." Aint that just the cutest...

Here are the snow pictures I promised. May have some more tomorrw, if it keeps snowing. We have about 3 inches at home and it is still coming down. I am so ready for spring and summer.

Behind this week :)

I am so sorry. This week has been so busy, but yet we couldnt do much. We are complete with the renovating for now; which is great. So easy to clean, I just love it. Of course Sunday is Valentine's Day adn we do have fun. I am going to tonight to get some special treats for my boys. They have no idea. I love surprising them. I would rather see the look on their faces as any gifts I could recieve. I will be posting some pictures later on today. Kobe and I had a couple of snow days this week. We attempted to build a snowman, but the snow wouldnt stick. I will post some pictures of that in a lil bit. He is so darn cute, sometimes I just sit and hold him. I watch him and just listen at some of the things he says and know that he is becoming a man right before my very eyes. It saddens me so much. I want him to always be Mamma's Baby, but I do want him to feel like a lil man too. So its tough at times. O, on another note. Kobe's birthday invites came in and they are so cute. I do have them addressed and sending them out today. So come join the Monter Jam fun!

Out with the old, In with the new!!

For those of you that remember the carpet that was in my living room(wine colored) it is now replaced with beautiful oak hardwood floors. I am so glad this is completed. We have lived at our house 7 years now and it was time for the carpet to go! Kobe has terrible allergies. So I hope this helps.. But it looks so good. The bottom pictures were taken about 4am on Saturday. My sweet innocent baby boy got up at 1:00 am and decided it was time to get up! So of course Mommy had to get up too. We were up til 5:30, so I decided to take some distruction pictures, just so we could see the difference. And, oh was there a difference. I love it so much. So thankful that my husband is so talented and crafty with his hands. I am so blessed that we also have such a great family and support system. Roger's brothers and his best friend, Matt came over and pitched in. It took them just a small part of a day to finish. Thank you to all who helped. On another note Kobe's birthday will be in a few weeks. I have already ordered his invitations; and ordering his decorations later this week. I am trying to remember to send everyone an invite, but with all that has been going on my mind is not where it should be sometimes. So, if somehow I forget you, its not intended. His birthday party is March 6, 2010 at 2:00 at my house. Try to come if you can for some cake, ice cream, some fun and alot of love. God Bless!

Roger's New Truck

Roger has been looking for a truck for a while. He found one that he liked; so we bought it this week.

I have been really busy and I am sorry I haven't blogging as often. Tonight we are going to dinner with my dad, just so happen I forgot m camera on the charge this morning. But this weekend is our renovation weekend, lol. Can' wait. Of course, I will take picutres for you to see.

Happy Birthday, Roger I love you!!

This weekend was fun filled weekend. It was Roger’s birthday so we spent the weekend with our family and friends. Friday night everyone came over and the guys played cards and the ladies just chatted and spent time together. It was great! We had so much fun.
Then, Saturday night we went out to eat, Comedy Off Broadway, then went bowling. We were wore out, but it was a blast! I love Roger so much and I am so thankful and blessed to have him in my life.
Sunday we went to pick up the hardwood for our living room. Roger is going to put it down Friday and I can not wait. I am so excited to see some renovations around the house!!
