Happy early Thanksgiving :)

I can not believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner. It makes me happy and sad, both emotions mixed together. Happy because I will be spending the holiday with family that I love and that I know loves me. Sad, because some of the closet family members I have will not be with me. They will be having their own Thanksgiving dinner, however, I will not be invited. But that’s ok. Who wants to be somewhere that you are not welcome, right? I will just so grateful that I will be with the family that is dearest and closet to my heart. I will have pictures to “show them off”, so to speak.
Love y’all and Happy Thanksgiving

Just for my Daddy

Thursday night is always the night we eat with my daddy. But this week was a little of kilter. We went out on Monday instead of last Thursday. So tonight is Thursday and it is Dinner with Dad tonight. I will be making my famous chili (it is pretty good). My dad will be there at my house just a few minutes after I get home; waiting. It will be fun. And since Kobe is feeling better, he should put on his normal show of being himself, so cute.
Something I and thankful for that I do not say as often as I should is: I am thankful for my Dad. Throughout the years him and I weren’t very close at all. But within the past several years we have gotten so close that if you didn’t know us, you would think we were always this way. I am so thankful that both of have ambition. His ambition to try harder at being my Daddy. And my ambition to forgive and have patience. In life sometimes people do things or say things that hurt you so bad, you never have the opportunity to forgive them. I do not hold grudges and I forgive easily. So for that I am thankful. Anyone can be a Father, but it takes someone special to be a Daddy.
I love you Daddy and I am so happy the way our relationship has turned out. See you tonight.

Sick Baby

Yesterday I came to work thinking this was going to be an uneventful day. Well, in my life there is no such. Nothing really BAD generally happens; just enough to upset the day. So, I was sitting at work and got a call, a text, and a call on my work phone that Kobe was sick and I needed to pick him up from school. Scared to death I drive 90 miles an hour to the school. I get Kobe and hold him in my arms (keep in mind he had been asking for his Mommy) and if you know me that is all it takes to make me drop what I am doing and rush to him.
He had the stomach flu; and his lil belly was hurting so bad. Poor lil thing. I picked him up from school and we went home. He lay around all day and just drank juice. This morning he was not feeling himself so I took him to my moms. He loves his Mammaw very much. When I left he was curled up in the bed with her and they were watching Spoungebob. He was loving that. Just hope he is feeling better when I go get him after work. Love his heart.

Feast fit for a Queen

Today at work we had a celebration for one of the most endearing people anyone would be honored to know. Tillie, we love you so much and congratulations on 35 years of service at CRMC.
You are not only a co~worker, but a true and dear friend to me; and others you work with. Not only are you a good co~worker but a wonderful friend, person, confident, and an amazing woman.
Love ya Tillie.

Wishful Wednesday

I don’t really have that much to wish for. I have pretty much what I need, want, or could even ask for. But there are a few things I could think of that comes to mind where wishes are mentioned.
First, I would wish that family could be together at the holidays. Most of my family are pretty laid back, easy going, good ol country folk. But some on the other hand are not family orientated. You would think that growing up with someone your whole life, (childhood-adulthood) you would be so close to that person that neither hell nor high water could keep you apart. That is not the case for me and my sister. Beings that we are not speaking, the families (children) can not enjoy each other’s company through the holidays. (or any day for that matter).
I just wish that everyone had a heart as big as mine. If they did the world would be a nicer and more peaceful place.
Have a wonderful day!

Beautiful Fall Day

True Love

You ever think sometimes about just how blessed and lucky you really are? Well, I do all the time. Last night Roger and I were watching this move, Ghost of Girlfriends Past, with my man Matthew :) The movie was great. I loved it. But it brought to mind exactly the way Roger and I are. We met when we were in the third grade, remained friends for many years. Then, when were dating age we met riding around town and that was 13 years ago…
The movie had the same plot- boy and girl were friends, led separate lives, then as adults they see each other and the old feelings come back. Of course, the end up together and live happily ever after~it’s a love story.
But it brought to mind that is exactly how Roger and I are. In movies you know the guy always gets the girl he wants, she is always beautiful, and they life is a fairy tale. But here in the real world it is very hard to find true love, much less be with that person for the rest of your life. But that you see is where I am blessed. Roger has always been my true love~from the moment I met him. He was my first kiss, first date, ~ first of many. I just think that it is amazing how God works. We were boyfriend and girlfriend (at least thought we were) in the third grade and now here are as a family.
We have a beautiful baby boy, gorgeous home, nice care, good jobs, and heart full of love. There is always going to be bumps in the road~this is not a movie, but the end result is more than worth it. Promise you~work through it and the love is always there at the end of the day. I just wanted to write to tell everyone that I do realize just how lucky I am, to find true love and capture it. Not many have that chance. I love you Roger Dale White, more than you know. Just always remember this; Life is not about how many breathes you take, but the moments that take your breathe away. And that my friends is the rest of the story. Have a great day :)

Family and Friends

I love every moment I have with my family and friends. I couldn't ask for any better. I know that they are there for me when I need them; no matter what. My family and friends are the most important people to me. They know exactly who they are; I do not need to point them out. We love each other and are always there when we need each other. Sometimes in life things happen that you never expect would happen to you; things you never thought you would do or say. But true family and friends are there no matter what; UNCONDITIONAL!
So thank you to all of my family and friends that love me and care about me through the good and the bad.
Tomorrow night is Kobe's Fall Festival at school. ~Another big event, at least for me. I am so excited. I will take some pictures of course, the camera never misses anything if I can help it. This blog is one way I keep in touch with those I love; so check when you can.
Love you so much!

Beware of what you wish for... you just might get it.

I dont say this lightly. I say boldly. Make sure and be careful of what you ask for. Things maybe appealing to the eye, just read more of the fine print before deciding.
I love all of my family and friends so much. Thanks for reading my blog.
